Lotus Spiral Stillness

A meditative silhouette is formed as a quiet emblem of inner focus, where the body rests in lotus pose and the surface of the figure becomes a map of flowing energy. Calm is suggested through symmetry and restraint, while the spirals imply breath, circulation, and the steady return to center.
The design is translated into powder coated metal through continuous contour cutting that preserves the swirl pathways as crisp negative space. Strong outer lines keep the posture readable at a distance, while interior curves create layered depth. The 1.5 cm offset mount enhances the floating shadow effect, allowing the spiral structure to appear more dimensional and luminous.
Curator’s Note: In many meditation and yoga traditions, the lotus pose is associated with stability and attentive stillness, and spiral motifs are often used as visual shorthand for cycles of breath, renewal, and inward direction.
