Waves are nature’s repeating signature—endless movement that never repeats the same way twice. This composition turns that idea into a clean emblem of flow, where two curling crests face each other like mirrored currents, holding tension and harmony in a single frame.

In metal, the thick arcs and smooth channels are translated into confident cutlines that preserve strong negative space for high contrast. The broad curves are designed to cast a pronounced floating shadow effect, so the spirals feel deeper and more dimensional as light travels across the surface.

Curator’s Note: Spiral wave forms are common in maritime ornament and coastal pattern traditions because they symbolize continuity and return—motion that carries forward while looping back into rhythm.
