Story
Two figures face one another like opposing currents—one built from sharp facets, the other shaped by flowing lines. Between them, a vertical spine of circuitry and gears suggests a shared mechanism: connection that is engineered, maintained, and quietly alive.
Design
Hard-edged geometry and ribbon-like curves are cut into metal with deliberate gaps that let the wall complete the image. The artwork is designed to sit off the surface, allowing negative space to throw a crisp floating shadow that grows more dramatic under backlighting.
Curator’s Note
The pairing reads as balance: structure and intuition, logic and feeling, motion and stillness. Gears imply cooperation and timing, while the continuous lines on the right suggest growth—two distinct languages held together by one central thread.
