A wall becomes an altar when its pattern holds authority. The Glyphgate Triad was designed for spaces that demand structure—three architectural anchors that read like an ancient code translated into modern precision.
Each panel carries a dense labyrinth of stepped turns, diagonal cuts, and ceremonial border rhythms—brutalist geometry with a Mesoamerican pulse. The center panel locks the composition with a totem-like axis, while the side panels fracture and echo the motif, creating a controlled tension across the triptych. Negative space is treated as a material: it pulls light through the corridors and returns it as crisp, shifting shadow channels that deepen the relief throughout the day. Softened radius corners keep the edges calm and refined—river-worn, not mechanical.
Curator’s Note:
Triptych formats date back to early architectural and ceremonial art, where multiple panels were used to tell layered stories—often symbolizing past, present, and future, or balance between opposing forces.
