A galloping horse is captured at the peak of motion, where muscle, breath, and instinct align into a single surge forward. The lifted foreleg and streaming mane suggest momentum without hesitation, turning the horse into a symbol of resolve, independence, and raw vitality.
The design is translated into powder coated metal through layered contour lines that carve form from negative space. Sweeping arcs define the mane and tail, while tapered strokes and open cutouts keep the silhouette fast and legible. The floating offset enhances depth, allowing shadows to echo the movement and reinforce the anatomy.
Curator’s Note: Horses have carried enduring symbolic weight in art and visual culture, often associated with freedom, strength, travel, and the disciplined partnership between human ambition and natural power.
