A swirling circle is shaped into a living current, where motion becomes the subject and stillness becomes the frame. The spirals pull inward while the larger arcs surge outward, creating a contained turbulence that evokes oceans, weather, and the cyclical force of return.

The design is translated into powder coated metal through thick, continuous bands and razor-clean negative space channels that preserve the illusion of layered flow. The circular perimeter stabilizes the movement, while the offset mount allows shadows to trace each curve and sharpen the sense of depth and rotation.

Curator’s Note: Spiral and vortex motifs appear across many visual traditions as symbols of continuity and transformation, often used to represent energy that renews itself through cycles rather than straight lines.
