Mind in Flight | Portraits

Story
A human profile is rendered as an inner map—structured, layered, and quietly electric. From that geometry, birds and leaves emerge on the opposite side, as if thought has crossed a threshold and become motion, growth, and release.

Design
Crisp, angular pathways form the head while flowing ribbons and clean cutouts carry the birds and foliage. Negative space becomes the light source of the composition, and the standoff mount lifts the metal off the wall to create a floating shadow halo that intensifies with LED backlighting.

Curator’s Note
The left side reads as logic and pattern, while the right side suggests imagination taking flight—mechanical cogs alongside organic leaves. The pairing is often read as a symbol of balance: discipline guiding creativity, and creativity softening structure.
