Story
A late-night scene is distilled into two interlocking faces—part conversation, part memory—where a glass and a gaze share the same silhouette. The composition reads like a pause between words, with warmth suggested through open space rather than detail.

Design
Bold metal ribbons define the figures while generous cutouts do the storytelling, turning negative space into cheeks, lids, and lips. As the piece sits off the wall, the outline casts a soft halo of shadow that shifts with ambient light and creates a floating, gallery-like presence.

Curator’s Note
Dual-portrait motifs often symbolize connection: two viewpoints held inside one frame. Here, the simplified features emphasize mood over identity, allowing the work to function as an emblem of companionship, nightlife, and quiet intimacy.
